A thesis that needs no further clarification is the fact that guys are attracted to good looking ladies. The more good looking she is, the longer the queue of men vying for her attention.
For a lady, it is just so exhilarating, when you step into a room and all eyes are on you, you stand up to give a speech, and every single eye is riveted on you. To a woman, it is one of the best experiences, catching people's attention and holding it. It is like a drug, addictive, very potent. Those that have experienced it, want a repeat, and others will do anything to get there. It is big deal, really and some have resorted to not so nice ways of getting that attention, not that I am judging....
How ever you want to achieve this effect that ups your confidence and makes you feel better about yourself should be your decision to make, even if it means wearing all shades of purple on your face.
If the reason you want to wear all that shades of colour that do not even perfectly match your face is to impress or come off as attractive, you just have to think again about your plan. A guy doesn't not take a liking to you because of the depth of the layers of powder on you face. They are more into the fact that you look good.
If this seems the case, the next time you're before the mirror, you could apply just a minimal amount of makeup to your face and save yourself the discomfort that comes with building a barricade between your face and some good air.
Take proper care of your skin. Use natural products and achieve the evenly toned, radiant and healthy look that make you appear and feel beautiful inside out. So if you must use Mark and Johnson's, make sure the reason you're picking red instead of nude is because that's what you want, what you feel like wearing, for you and not him, unless he asks you to anyways. This will save you tonnes of time and efforts as he is not into the fact the makeup has amplified you, but that you've made an attempt to look beautiful for him, because frankly, they mostly do not notice or they simply don't care.
This is really well written and full of insights into a women's mind I would definitely upvote this but it's past 7days, put up a new post of equal caliber and I'll double upvote it @adawrytes. Well done, you got my attention.
