Earlier in 2017, I spent some time working at PG&E's Nuclear Power Plant Diablo Canyon in San Luis Obispo, California. I had just gotten out of the being a Wine Cultivation Technician (Processing/fermenting etc...) and somehow landed a job as a wrench monkey working in the Intake Sector with a bunch of Salty Dogs.
I've had a lot of random jobs and worn a lot of hats (even hard-hats) but I've never worked a job like this! I got to hold an octopus 4 levels below sea level, learn about nuclear energy and help fix machines that were millions of dollars (eek!)
