In the spirit of getting women to speak up, I have decided to be the voice of countless women out there. This Narrative Poem is written for them. I wrote a book some time back and I hope to share the link subsequently.
This piece is inspired by #WomenSpeakOut #MenSpeakOut and @katrina-ariel
I titled this one 'DELIVER ME FROM MYSELF'
My hands are always searching for a delicate yet hard flesh to touch. There are usually no restrictions to the length my hands are willing to go. Sometimes I doubt that I have been forgiven. I am always seeking the vulnerability of my FEMINITY.
I let go of myself in the arm of a man even though he seeks to tear me in bits, I am willing to endure the urge and pain of the pleasure that he promises though he cums when I bid him no permission. He seems to be skilled than the weakling of a man I call mine.
It is not usually his fault when he touches me in places I am most vulnerable. In times when I bleed the most, it is because I seek the joyful mournings and moanings of my depleting self. I sound like a woman at the cliff of ecstasy. I do not get that from he that cums with the gentleness of the wind. I am pleased by the hurricane breathe of a stranger pacing through to quickly take that which I hold dear.
It is not his fault that he finds me in harm's way. I usually would sit in wait for the claws of the thief of nights and days. Like a farmer planting precious seeds in thorns only to watch them bleed, I bleed on the sharp piercings of his gut, the symbol of his masculinity.
I am the woman who desires to be satisfied. I am the woman who has given up on sanity. I am the woman who has no faith in her man. He is too quick to cum through. He leaves me begging for the strength of his youth - his strength serves no use. I am left alone to wish for the pleasure and strength of a strange man.
This is my secret tear. I never tell it to him. For I am an African woman. I dare not speak ill of my man. He should be seen as capable. I am woman, I have no voice of mine.
