@Skycranehandwork sent me a gorgeous piece of ironwood in exchange for a guitar slide that I make. So today I finally started up the band saw and have begun on the first slide. This one is the prototype to seeIf everything will work as normal. This stuff is crazy hard and difficult to work with but gorgeous when finished..,,.

Oh thats bone for sure.....comes out real nice. didn't have a chance to work on it today..... could of had it finished but I can't find my box of drill bits and reams and all that kinda stuff. So I guess I go to the store tomorrow and get a new one.... Got everything else to get it done sander, drill press, buffer,etc. next pics will be just a tad bit different.......
