Dentil detail

in woodworking •  7 years ago

Hi Everyone,
Someone took some photos of a project I was working on and shared them so I would like to also share them with you. It is a wall display and storage unit. I noticed the dentil moulding was mitered at the corners which calls for the dentils be centered. This was an accident ;) Hope you enjoy, BlessingsWP_20170406_14_08_10_Pro (2).jpgWP_20170406_14_08_43_Pro (2).jpgWP_20170406_14_08_53_Pro.jpgWP_20170406_14_09_04_Pro.jpg

Very nice indeed. Dental frieze can be a tricky one to get lined up. I like the column lattice carving.

I didn't make the lattice post and I am glad I didn't have to. Looks fun tho :)
