I don't play guitar, but it makes a great keepsake. Maybe now I will try to learn.

Check out @mrkstn1 's blog for great cigar box guitars too.

It sounds better than it looks.......... I almost kept it for myself...... Must of got lost in the mail...... So now I have to make another one for me. The way the piece was shaped I will have some that will require them to be laminated so some may be iron wood and maple or purple heart or bloodwood or????? Glad you like it and a few will be on the market. Order one on Steemit and I will accept Steem or SBD.......

I just looked again and man that color really came out in that closeup.....

Is it pig bone?

Cattle........ That one is from a dig treat bone

Like from the pet food aisle?

Ya..... I usually get then from pet smart in the aisle with the chews and such

I know, right? I really glows in the sun.

Ive never used a wood guitar slide, only metal ones. It makes me think how would would go on the strings. It looks great though

The bone side is very bluesy and sweet, the wood side completely depends on what kind of wood you use..... This one is ironwood and the name says it all. It is a very hard wood and sounds amazing. I have made them with bone and purple heart. wenge, rosewood, walnut, maple, bloodwood, and they all have their own distinct sound. But they all go in the bluesy department..... Here is a demo of one I made from bone and wenge/walnut/maple.....

Dude that is awesome! Fluid bluesy riffs too man
