WORD

We spend our lives chasing money & all the things it can buy, chasing fame & all its attendant benefits, chasing degrees & other certificates that make us think we know everything, & all the material & immaterial acquisitions believed to make life become Heaven on earth. IMG_20180307_101009_346.JPG

Then we forget the people who were there before those things, who were our anchors (when our legs were wobbly & all we could do was drag our feet), who saw us in our worst but still thought we were magnificent, who let our tears soil their cloths & allowed us to be vulnerable without judging us.

What a life! What convoluted existence do humans really live! IN THE END, THE BIGGEST REGRET PEOPLE HAVE ON THEIR DEATH-BEDS IS THAT THEY DID NOT LOVE ENOUGH. Would that be yours too.
