Know thy place...

Matthew 14:3-4

[3]For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.

[4]For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.

Who's John the Baptist? He was the forerunner of Jesus Christ... Not a politician...and definitely not the king's adviser.

The moment a man misses/neglects his calling and go after other things, losing his head is a possibility.

John was crying in the wilderness and people came to him, even Pharisees came to be baptized but the moment he started putting his nose into the matter of the kingdom of men, he was apprehended.

Note that it is not wrong to correct people that are going astray, neither is politics meant for some set of people that are not born again...no! As a matter of fact, men are called into leadership positions, men that are God's children.

But when not called or sent by God into any place (not only politics), don't venture into it.

Know where God is sending you and in that place, you will matter.

May God open our eyes to see beyond the immediate and to know our place so that we can dominate and rule as He plans it for us in Jesus Mighty Name.

Good morning.
