Word Poetry Challenge #1: “Larawang Kupas”

Ang paglalaro ng mga luhang dalisay,
Sa mga pisnging malarosas ang kulay,
Habang hawak sa palad ang mga nakalipas,
Na nakaukit sa ating larawang kupas.

Habang hawak natin ating mga kamay,
’Di bibitaw ang puso sa pagmamahal na tunay,
Mga mata’y gumuguhit ng walang hanggan,
Kinakabig mga salitang “mahal kita magpakailanman”.

Ang mga pangakong ating binitawan,
Ikaw ay akin at ako’y sa’yo lamang,
Ginugunita ng hawak kung larawan,
Kahit ikaw ngayo’y lumisan.

Sa’n na nga ba nagtungo ang mga kahapon,
Na pinagbuklod ng pag-ibig ang bawat taon,
Sa’n na napunta ang hinahanap mong sarili,
Na iniwan ako sa isang sulok, sa tabi.

Kumakapit parin ang puso sa ating pangako,
Utak at damdamin ay hindi sumusuko,
Hanggang hawak larawang kupas na palaging baon,
Mananatili ang alay kong pag-ibig hanggang dapit-hapon.
