Disappearing memories
that morning she came up
to the fridge to find a
little yellow memo stuck
on its door
written in once known
but now forgotten
handwriting
she wondered for a long time
whether it was her
or somebody else
trying to jog her memory
with what now seemed
indecipherable hieroglyphics
