A luscious rose
With thorns in its petals;
A golden mirror
With hidden cracks.
The inside mess
In the heat of madness
They easily forget.
Lips touch;
Hands shiver;
Bodies shake.
Though forbidden,
The beauty of it all
Is too irresistible.
“Making love,”
They said.
But it has equated to
Making sins.
Adam and Steve
Are not meant to be.
Ada and Eve
Were never supposed to be.
But hunger is driven with passion.
To satiate it,
One must consume.
Though prohibited;
Though taboo;
Though a taste of craziness;
They are proud
To go through the same mess,
And through the same dirt.
For what is the beauty of true love
Without a bit of madness?
