This is suppose to be a daily Devotional, but I kinda stop it for a while...my bad. Good day dear steemians, it's time for us to build our faith and renew our minds. THE WORD FOR TODAY.
I will be sharing about Gratitude.
Saying Thank you is one of the most effective charm I've seen...same goes with I Love You but that will be another day's business. People who appreciate the little they have never lack even if they don't have enough.
Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Jesus, teaching his disciples how to pray started with Thanksgiving/gratitude. David who was a man after God's heart made gratitude his major duty in every ups and down he found himself. Let's look at some merits of being grateful:
Being grateful teaches you to be content with what you have.
Being grateful attracts more blessing and gifts from men and from God.
Being grateful brings about humility.
So what happens to a Ungrateful Heart;
The person is never satisfied.
Nobody will want to associate with someone who doesn't appreciate little things.
The person is filled with Pride.
There are more merits and demerits of having/not having a grateful heart which I would love to hear from you all in the comment section.
Till next Time
Keep Steeming
Stay blessed
