You make me feel

I'm afraid of the way you make me feel.
It's new and different and it puts me on my guard.
It's like I might have actually found what I was searching for so long to see, but now that I'm here where I thought I'd want to be I'm more afraid of the things that you might do to me.
If I'm not careful my next steps could end in disaster, but I must trudge ahead to see what lies ahead.
