300 words and one picture. 300 because that's an indication of at least of some effort and a picture to get attention. You may have heard this before.
You can add almost any kind of picture, and the human mind makes it part of the text you write. And if you are the kind of person, who likes to lead the reader astray, or even deceive your reader, you know the power of a photograph. Taken certain way, something cropped away or an expression on someone's face that has nothing to do with anything else in the picture.
I'm all about pictures. I like to look at photos and I love it when a good text has visual pauses. And of course not any kind of pictures, but pics that fit the text. Support it and perhaps also in some cases elaborate it.
The power of an image. Attention, pause, elaboration, information, deception.
When you add an excellent picture to a well written article or a story, you are on the right path to success.
But I'm also against easy. Against pictures if the only reason is to better get attention in a never ending stream of texts. Against the kind of things that I know would please most people. Against writing every text the same, certain way, against bringing only the best photos in front the viewers eyes. Against giving things in a way that it is easy to understand for most. Against branding.
I love pictures. But when they are added only to get attention, the picture is meaningless for me. And vice versa, when text is there just to get that 300 words around the photo someone wanted to show, the text becomes useless.
Don't forget these people who I've mentioned before. If you haven't already visited them, do it now and if you have, check them again later.

Darn. I should have added a picture. Maybe a wall with mirror peaces in it.
Nice content and topic... Im so interest to make more word in english, but now i still learn basic english, that was make me hard to make a great story between picture and text.
