What is Steem-bounty:
Steem-bounty is a direct way to reward people more for the comments they make on posts. Aside from the earnings made when people upvote your comment, steem-bounty pays you steem or SBD for the comment itself. A bounty is the money paid to people who commented on the post. Since this money is paid in Steem or SBD, the program is called steem-bounty
How it works:
The author of a post sets up a bounty for his post in steem or SBD. People compete for the bounty by making creative and original comments to the post. At the end of 7 days (when the post has paid out), the bounty is shared among the commenters.
How the bounty is shared:
The bounty is divided into 2 parts of 80% and 20%.
80% of the bounty:
The creator distributes 80% of the bounty among the voters. He votes for each commenter by a particular percentage he decides. When making the votes, he decides the percentage of vote to give each commenter according to the quality of their comments.
20% of the bounty
20% of the bounty is shared based on the value of the votes on the comments cast by steemit users.
