I talked a while ago in another article how a lot of people refuse to delete their work and spend more time working because they're lazy. It doesn't matter if they're not happy with what they do, for them it's always better to just post something bad than to work a little more in order to improve it.
It's wrong, and I believe you should never do that no matter the case. I believe it's better to just not post anything and give yourself time to create something you're proud of, than to publish something really bad because you're not willing to invest more time into it.
There's one simple thing you have to do when you're not happy with what you worked on, something that will help you create better things and to make the people who follow you happy - deleting. Delete your work, delete your sketches, your failed projects and anything that isn't the way you want.
Start working again on everything and don't stop until all you do is as good as it can be. If it isn't, then delete again and start all over. It's hard, it's annoying and it's frustrating most of the time, but creating high quality content depends on your ability to delete the mediocre stuff and to invest more time into creating something amazing.
If you're not capable of doing that then expect your work to not receive as many rewards as you want it to. Think of all the people that would reward you the way you think you would be willing to reward someone else.
For example, if you read a bunch of articles written by someone who doesn't care about his work, would you be willing to reward him with anything for what he does? I don't think so, because when it comes to us rewarding other people, we want the best and we want to make sure we invest our time or we spend our money on something amazing that can improve our life.
That's the same way people think about YOUR work. If you don't want to create something amazing, if you're not willing to delete everything you do again and again until it's as good as you can make it, then don't expect everyone to go insane for you work and to reward you with whatever you desire.
People want high quality stuff, and if you're not able to provide it, don't expect anything in return. You have to make sacrifices from time to time in order to get what you want, and if that means you have to delete your work, then you must be willing to do that.
So, next time you want to create something, no matter what it is, make sure you're willing to delete it multiple times it in order to make it as good as it can be. Delete your articles, your design works, your videos and anything you make as long as you're not happy with it. Keep working and keep improving and one day you'll get to where you want to be and the content you'll create will be appreciated by people.
I recently found the magic 'edit' button 😎.

Glad to hear that, the small 'edit' button saved me from posting something bad so many times :)

The best tool in the writer's study is the waste-paper bin. At least it used to be - now the delete key is just as effective.
Sometimes it's worth saving the failures, though, so you have something to look back at and learn from later.

I learned that the 'delete' key can be an amazing tool you can use whenever you're not completely happy with your work, and that can happen pretty often.
And I agree with saving your failures from time to time, especially if you know you're gonna keep doing what you now do. For example, if you try to write an article now and you fail but you like the idea, you can keep it saved somewhere and rewrite it when you'll have more experience and you'll be a better writer.
Thanks for the comment! :)
