In today work environment, we face a lot of challenges. To be successful in your position, you have to be ahead of others and be extraordinary.
But I think in order to go for next step, first you need to find a right company and a right position which gives room for yourself to take small and sensible steps in the right direction. A company which gives room for you to grow. Like, you begin with the skills and knowledge you already have and has opportunity to add new knowledge you lack. Then, you can be a valuable person.
Big companies have lot of opportunities but also lots of valuable employees which you have to compete with. Startup companies which may have limited sources but which allow you to good utilize your knowledge to further extend. Starting out with a small company, especially if you’re young, gives you a fast track to big money that you won’t get in a big corporate environment. It also gives you several ways to become a big moneymaker without sacrificing your principles.
