Hello Steemit !There is something i wanted to share with you guys, so if you work as a waiter you might find this interesting. As a waiter I have been working for 8 years. I have been through restaurants,bars,hotels...from the coast to big cities to small towns. When I started working as a waiter i thought that this was a perfect job for me. You interact with other people,you bring them food and drinks for tips and its really easy to have fun while doing it. My grandpa was a waiter so was my mother and now i am the third generation with the same occupation and I gotta say its not that bad. But its not that good either.Let me explain why!
The biggest problem is the PEOPLE...OH GOD...Not only do most of them not know what they really want,a great deal of them end up not liking what they've expressly ordered.and this happens alot.
Second of all ,rudeness! Ladies and gentlemen is there a sticker on my forehead that says that I am your personal punching bag? People,we are not here for your take out all of your frustrations on us,or for you to take a big swing at us when we are just trying to do our job. We are people too! We are neither ministers nor therapists, here to absorb and resolve your problems,so please relax and enjoy and let us do our jobs. 
However it's not all so bad to be honest.Not only do you get to see and meet hundreds of new people every day,you also learn a few psychological tricks witch can help you with your job and tough guests.I'm not gonna reveal what those tricks are, because I am an asshole :)
The best thing about this job is the people who work with you.Not only do you become friends,but also when it's a really shitty and long day and you are telling yourself (THAT'S IT! I QUIT) you look at your colleage and you see the same look on his face and you know that he is thinking the same thing.Then you realize that you are not alone, and that everything will be alright as long as you respect each other as colleagues and human beings.
