The house is waking up. It's close to 09:00. This is my second wake-up of the day. I have work to do. I opted out of TDSC this morning. It didn't feel right. Probably the beers last night. At least that's what I tell myself.

The dream I just had is a reminder to get that life-changing work done... today. She must be completely out of my life. As completely as possible, in any case.

The upper-upper is properly sore, recuperating from yesterday's bar-work. I think I should push legs today at the Y. Leg press 5x5s, maybe deadlifts, squats, leg extensions, maybe some chest work, but I should relax the pulling. I think yesterday's routine ignited some sleeping muscles.

Made good time, good work and good therapy at the gym. Warm-up included step ups and two sets of six burpees that made me want to quit right then. Deadlifts and jumping db squats super sets, 5x5... not really super sets because I rested between sets. My heaviest pull was 205, a personal best for this season. Leg presses pushed to 360 lbs., 5x5. Military presses... topped at 30 on the bar, 75 total. I want a solid 100 lb. overhead press before I leave, but thanksgiving week. Hmmm. Shin flexes, light should work and seated shoulder press, 40 lb dbs. My shoulders have gotten stronger for lifting, leaner and more defined. I think I've made impressive gains in the twelve days I've been back. The combination I'm working is solid. But it could also be the Bod responding to the stimulus because it hasn't experienced it in a long time.

Whatever the explanation, I'm pleased.

Back at the spot and Session Five of The Come Back with Mom. Four rounds of seven minutes. Mom came through the whole four rounds, so we can go to eight minutes on the next session.

Not much else went in today. Lots of exercise. Somehow I left my key and lock at the Y. Or at least I think I did. It wasn't in my backpack.

Later that rainy night... a dark and stormy...
