Rationing is a reality now. Supply issues have all but forced Europe's hand and the contagion is going to spread to the rest of the world. It is scary because to the rest of the world, scarcity is only something the poorer countries of the world had to deal with. Sadly, we are soon to learn that this fate is to be brought upon even the richer countries of the western world.
We were coerced initially. Told that things would be temporary. Supply side logistics will work themselves out. Except, the supply issues continue to deteriorate and now supermarkets all across Europe have to strictly ration essential items, blaming the war.
If not blinded by their own greed and rendered totally incompetent, the only conclusion one can draw is that Western policy makers intended to concentrate wealth and power into fewer and fewer hands - to the point where accumulated National and otherwise debts have become unpayable and mathematically impossible to pay because of the way the system of economic production and distribution is set up with all its excesses and flaunting of the law by ruling elites.
According to renowned historian and economist Michael Hudson, without making serious adjustments to the debt levels through what has been historically termed a “debt jubilee” where certain debts are forgiven, it will be those at the bottom of the economic pyramid who pay the price for the criminal excesses of the Western ruling elites.
