The Guinness Book of World Records has officially endorsed the world's most expensive tea kettle, studded with 18-karat gold and precious diamonds.

The 18-karat gold and precious diamond-studded kettle held by the N Sethia Foundation was named 'The Egoist' and on August 9, the beautiful kettle was officially certified as the world's most expensive kettle by the Guinness Book of World Records.

The owner of this kettle is Nirmal Sethia, an Indian citizen living in the UK who also runs a foundation. This masterpiece kettle was designed by the famous Italian artist Flovio Scivia, whose expenses were borne by Sethia's company.

A total of 1658 diamonds are set on the kettle while the rubies were specially sourced from Burma and Thailand. Its value in dollars will be equal to 3 million dollars.

At the center of this kettle is a ruby ​​stone of 6.67 carats and brilliantly cut diamonds. Part of the kettle is made from extinct hairy elephant tusks which further adds to its rarity.

The sides of the kettle are plated with 18 carats of gold and its water, the inner part also contains gold, due to which the price of this kettle is more than 88 crore rupees.
