A day dedicated to happiness, I think it's one of the most important day, the happiness is need of everyone from a microorganisms to whale including all possible form of life. No one wishes to live a miserable life.
And this day is celebrated on 20th of March every year to recognize and remind the importance of happiness in lives around the world.
The theme for year 2018 was " share happiness" focusing on importance of relationship, kindness and helping each other. I guess its the same principle on which steemit platform is based upon.
March 20 as been established as world happiness day as the idea has been originally conceptualized by United Nations.
