Hello guys, @osigbhemeh here with the preview of the Group A and B world cup group stages. Egypt were defeated by Uruguay at the Ekaterinburg Arena where Jose Gimenez goal was enough to earn the South Americans a vital three points to move them level on points with Russia but are down by goal difference. Injured Mohammed Salah was an unused sub as he watched from the bench as his side was defeated.

Aziz Bouhaddouz was introduced on the 77th minute and scored an own goal on the 90th minute to put iran in control of group B with two more games to go. The Iranians need just one win to make it to the round of 16 of the world cup. While it will be very difficult for Morocco to qualify, bearing in mind that they'll play Portugal and Spain in their remaining two fixtures.

While the last match of the night was between Spain and Portugal where both side took one point home. The G.O.A.T(Greatest Of All Time), Christiano Ronaldo was at it again after netting thrice to earn a point for the Portuguese. He became the oldest player to score a hatrick in the world cup history age 33. Spain dominated the game before a howler from David De Gea gifted Christiano Ronaldo his second goal of the night. On the 88th minute, he scored a free kick to earn a much-deserved draw for his country.
