I was walking through Versailles Garden’s, amazed by so much beauty, thanking the error of the tourist office, for which they gave me the entrance to that sector of the castle.
The beautiful view of Versailles Garden, and me myself amazed by the landscape
In the middle of one enormeous smile, there was a roar in the sky that broke the shine of the sun, and some seconds after that moment, it began to rain violently.
Some minutes before starting to rain
I walked quickly at first, but then I understood that if I didn't run, I would stay outside the roof flap that was being used by other people who were there.
In this picture I was walking happily, but some people were already wearing umbrellas. It had begun to rain, as you can see with my glasses, where there were some tiny drops.
So I ran with my umbrella open in vain, because the rain lashed my legs from behind.
I got to the roof and someone made a place for me.
Then I saw you. You ran like me, but you didn't have an umbrella, so you were soaked.
You stood next to me and we started talking. You told me you were from Germany, while I thought how great it would be to get a German boyfriend.
When the rain subsided, we walked together toward the train station to return to Paris.
I shared my umbrella with you, and on the way, I felt how the water coming from the sky wet the entire right side of my body.
And without meaning to, I wondered why I always play the role of a gentleman. There I was, politely covering you with my umbrella. But it was worth it, because maybe you were asking for my number.
We arrived at the station, which was linked by all the people who had been blessed by the Versailles water. Apparently the rain had surprised several in the Gardens or in the streets.
I had no ticket, but I didn't know that you did have.
So I went to buy the ticket and you came with me. I was happy because I said yes! Let's travel together!
And when I was in the line, you looked at me and said, bye! Here comes my train.
And you went away, just like that.
And there I was, with half of my body lashed by the rain, looking at nothing, with a stunned face.
Moral:
- If you like the boy or girl and you know that you will never see him again, ask him for the number, if he says no, does it matter? Tell your ego to calm down.
- If you are a girl and it rains torrentially and you have an umbrella and a boy appears who doesn't, don't share yours. XD
Hi @belenguerra this stories of yours are so funny and yes I learned the lesson from you. Thanks for sharing
