Hello steemians! Hope all is going well. Today after a lot of thinking I decided to write a letter to my 18-year-old self.

Abasifreke, how are you doing? How is studies? How is your squad? “Enjay, Coolex, forjay, john and co. Hope all is well.
Today I write to inform you that you made it. Congratulation. You’re 25 with no hint of an STD.
As a teenager you did a great job by navigating the snake pit of secondary school without hurting yourself. Sometimes I do miss several things about you like your adventurous lifestyle, your curiosity, your good instincts, your innocence though I don’t wish to visit you again…lol

Right now all is going well. I have acquired great skills such as graphic designs and web management in addition to my degree because I got admitted into the department of Computer Engineering in university of Uyo here in Nigeria though I know you had dreams of being a medical doctor. I have met new friends and great minds through several social Medias such as steemit, facebook, instagram, snapchat, whatsapp and twitter who have inspired me over the years.

I wish you had done this in a different way “Advice you never got”

You should have taken heed in never to take life so seriously though I know you were under peer pressure.
Being careful of John, You should have known he'd introduce you to drugs. You should have been nicer to your teachers. You should have stopped skipping classes it did you a lot of bad. Remember Blessing? She's now married. You should have known she would not end up with you despite all the fantasies you both shared.

The next six years won’t be easy, but you’re strong and you’ll overcome.
Start to give yourself more credit; you’re not half as bad as you may think.
