Make beautiful posts on stemmit with special formatting

In a recent feed-back to one of my posts, @crypto.piotr suggested to use “divs” in formatting my posts for better readability. I simply didn't know that this was possible on steemit, so I began to research. The problem was that in most of the posts about formatting, you could see the effect of the formatting but actually not how to do it. So I decided to write a post about it and to illustrate the code and the result on the same post for better visibility:

How to use “text-justify” in steemit

How to write it:

<div class="text-justify">text</div>

The result:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.

How to use “Pull-right” in steemit

How to write it:

<div class="pull-right">text</div>

The result:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.

How to use “Pull-left” in steemit

How to write it:

<div class="pull-left">text</div>

The result:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.

Use "Pull-left" and "Pull-right" to create two columns in your text

How to write it:

<div class="pull-left">text 1</div>
<div class="pull-right">text 2</div>

The result

Text 1

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.

Text 2

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.

How to write visible code into a steemit post

For this post I had to learn how to be able to write code in the post so that it stays visible. This was quite difficult to find, so I write it here too. The most important is to replace to caracters "bigger than >" and "smaller than <".

How to write it:

<code> replace all the "<" in your code by "& l t ;" (without spaces); replace all the ">" in your code by "& g t ;" (without spaces) <code>

For the example below
<code>& l t ; div class="pull-left"& g t ; text& l t ; /div& g t ; </code>without spaces

The result:

<div class="pull-left">text</div>
