In the attack, the houses of Pahari and Buddhist temples were burnt to ashes.

After the incident, thousands of mountainous families were forced to flee to India by refugees. Today, those places have been acquired by the external settlers, settling down. Mosque has been built in place of Buddhist monastery. After 38 years of the incident, and no government raised the authenticity of the massacre to the nation. As a result, till date, the Pahari did not find any satisfactory investigation, trial, and no one came under trial. The reverse army members have been promoted to the rank of officer.

On this day of 1980, those who did not escape the toxic poison of genocide, who were victims of self-sacrifice. Some respected mother, some parents, some lost husband and children, and respected everyone who lost their motherland and became proletariat.
