Holiday Poem

Like salt in slow motion,
Snow falls on the ground,
in the winter wonderland,
Relatives arrive in town

Fireplaces are dancing,
Ovens are baking,
Carolers are caroling,
and Prayers are praying,

Remember the ones who can't be warm,
Without families,
Outside,
in Sun or Storm,

--

Holiday spirit is about giving,
Helping and uplifting,
Those around us we may not know,
But they matter as much as those we do

--

This is winter time,
Where we all come together,
Give gifts, hear chimes,
Even though there's cold weather

--

Happy Holidays to all,
Celebrate and enjoy,
It only happens once per year,
so Cherish the times you have.
