Something that groomed me in the best possible way. How you perceive the world and how the world perceives you are probably the dilemmas of life. But how you change with time, how you learn and then learn more about yourself is basically who you are. No one can define you, not your past, not your present, not your future; just you and what you choose to be. There's so much in it that I can't express. But every time I recall "20th Century Women", what comes into my mind is more than just what the Title says. :)
The authentic woman is strong, much stronger than men. The authentic woman is in contact with her heart. The authentic woman care. The authentic woman have empathy. The authentic women put her self on the line. The Authentic woman is creative. You are the authentic woman of the 20 th century :-) JMO

You have hit on what is expressed in Latin as, "Cogito ergo sum." I think, therefor I am.
The meaning of this is more closely tied to the fact that we are because we have thought, but it has also come to mean for some including myself that as I think so I am.
The minds power over the body is real. It has been shown that if you think you are getting well it can shorten a sickness. If you think that something will work the odds of finding a way to make it work go up.
