Mawi, the demi-god of the West was fond of its inhabitants and gave them all they needed. But in a bid to give them more, he ventured into the den of Nitiri, the goddess of order, to steal her Mantle of Order. Though he succeeded, he ended up unleashing Nitiri's godlike anger on its inhabitants.

The elders summoned Mawi into the courtroom of the king to ascertain how they could return the Mantle. There was one problem though, the mantle cannot be returned without a sacrifice. Since Nitiri has not been offended before, no one knew what her request could be.

With all hope seemingly lost, a girl named Sophie believes she can tame the unpredictability of Nitiri. She approached the courtroom and spoke of the melodies she can arrange with her flute that can calm Nitiri. In spite of their unbelief, they sent Sophie alongside him.

On arriving the den, she began to spin melodious tunes that touched Nitiri, while she calmed down, Mawi installed the Mantle in its place placating Nitiri. In turn, she was able to restore order to the West. From then on Sophie became the priestess of Nitiri and her flute, her symbol.
