I see your dilemma . I have had and do have this same situation. You need to move into a leadership role. Calmly take control and delegate tasks your girl friend is able to do. It will probably take some time to develop good practices, but determined calm persistence should yield results. Even a little progress should be welcomed. Remember to be excessively thankful and appreciative. It goes a long way.
