Yo! Hope this post finds everyone well. Today I got some more practice writing a rap over one of @rusty-jernigan's recent beats entitled "Dense Fog Advisory." The flow ended up pretty strange, but I still like it! I'm gonna record it soon and send the vocals to Rusty and let him release it at some point if he wants :-) Sorry if the post is a little boring with just the lyrics instead of the audio. {If you really can't wait, go listen to the beat that inspired it!} It ended up being about the limitations of our intelligence and sense perceptions, likening them to a dense fog. It alludes to the vast abilities we can unlock if we choose to face the truth and go the path less traveled. It's longer word-wise than a lot of my posts because the rap is 2 minutes long and it's spoken pretty fast. Anyway, have a good one and thanks for reading :-D

Convey me your impression telepathic through the mist.
Sooner or later you gotta desist on doubting your abilities.

But oh silly me, I got ahead of myself again!
Forgot we had to start from the beginning of time

Rehearse the dialouge, gestures, scene, plot, setting, directors
Rehashing the drama of the screenplay (no comma)

Roiling, rumbling, boiling, fumbling,
Foiling our mortal plans are short-sighted.

Every single day new beings are born and some others ones die.
We remain the anomalies that enter play & change the times.
Blind giants that only thinly see:
We got a dense fog advisory.

So turn off the lights and relax,
Close your eyes and sit back.
One we tap into the inner vision
Through a dextrous slice of a psychic incision
A set intention. Use your intuition & discern:
From the perfection of divine essence learn.
A meditation is a pristine voyage to truth
Apply yourself and overcome the tendency to be aloof.

Now feel! Everything that's everywhere is real!
To stay in the void is a cop out,
The lopsided robotic stop & shout to awaken just
Talking to myself: "Well I was completely mistaken!"
The sheer insanity of what was revealed to me left me
Shaking in my boots, unable to grasp the full import
Of the revelation.

All I could do was move forward and
Attempt to integrate through the process of creation.
I do what I do and you can do you at your station.
Don't let the dense fog impede your elation.
