Login - terminal - code entry - access transitions
Employ fervency of the human - at the command station.

Numerals swirl into the inscrutable,
A strange feeling - just around the corner
Some variable's addition irks one.

Prod - click - stint the storeroom
Machinations of the city to short the supply
Unless the quid be provided timely.

Sublime - ruination - pastel - daydreams
Here in adult daycare, the ghost town of glass.

Portrait undone - Who saw the explosion over the ridge?
It was a full flower irradiated with guilt of the sentient.

A bloom - through binary - hymns and denunciations
Silica dodecahedral heart - quartz brain - tears of tar.

Trail slashed through the lonely decades
Follow - chop the illusion of smoothness
Revel - piece together the unprofound

Logout - clip - mince words - criticisms leveraged
In machine mimicry computers manufacture the fallible.

Notes

A fascination of mine - art and machine - one area in which, it may be quite impossible for computers to ever outperform humans. Because, of course, art is subjective. This poem is from the perspective of A.I. algorithms attempting to assimilate and comprehend the irrational patterns of sentient beings: their daily dose of absorption.

Poetry and the Machine are awesome. It is obvious that the language is not for merely human but for the machine also.

The first line LOGIN isn't for human unless you tell a person to ENTER... Enter also uses for computer languages since the computer doesn't really understand the human language they are in form of numbers - 10010001 and this represents something maybe a letter A or B when you hit a keyboard.

Now since this is in the mix of Ai, algorithm etc., and human, the feeling isn't that much of a person but rather mimicking the essence of who we.......

The poem giving what the machine "feels" conveys what is in its "brain" the capacity to inform us about "its"situation inside the virtual world.

I like the poem though I feel something strange, lol, especially these two lines.

A bloom - through binary - hymns and denunciations
Silica dodecahedral heart - quartz brain - tears of tar.

I'm no critic... but the tar for me is out of place... and hill.

This line.... --- the ghost town of glass --- it could be a place where real people live but in the form of digital... Look at the artwork... It's like honeycomb to me... Well. it's just me...

In the end, I also need to LOGOUT (maybe in rhetorical.) Not a form of human communication, but in principle I think it can be used.

My two cents.

Interesting thoughts, I'm happy to read your detailed response @iwrite. You're welcome to share your impressions any time. It always gives me pause to reflect upon what has been written, which, after all, is penned rather rapidly and without too much editing by the logical brain. I agree with your statement about tar seeming out of place in that line. Perhaps it is the computer's failure to properly integrate or gauge the sentiment, at the last minute no less?

About hill being out of place, I agree greatly in re-reading. In fact, I have modified it to "ridge," which feels more fitting. Thanks again for your comment and for reading my piece. Hope you have a great day!

Can I say one thing bluntly?

I read your poem a four times again and again..Literally I didn't understand anything!

Fervancy,dodechadrel,denunciation...etc words literally baffled me and I had to use English-Malayalam dictionary.at the end I understood the concept! The one related with AI..!

Thank you for reminding me again my English skills are pathetic. But I'm pretty sure this platform 'Steemit' is insisting me to learn asap.

One Indian movie that envisaged the issue of robots dominating human is 'Enthiran'..They have portrayed well about the robots getting feelings! http://m.imdb.com/title/tt1305797/

Hahaha thanks for your honesty @sathyasankar, I'm afraid this one was intended to be a bit disjunct and confusing, so I applaud your efforts! Actually, I don't think your English is pathetic at all :-)

I want to note that, I'm always very happy to meet a Malayali. I stayed in Trivandrum four months teaching western music and learned to read and write Malayalam there. I tried to learn to speak as well but it is such a challenging language!

എന്റെ പേര് ദാനിയേൽ Pleased to meet you :-D

Oh my goodness! I just captured the screenshot of your comment and showed it to my family members and told them "I made a Westerner to write Malayalam"..It is inspiring to know that you had made an effort to learn the regional language of the place you were in! It is an exceptional quality.

As you stayed here for 4 months,I guess, you must have heard the names of tourist destinations Munnar and Thekkady..I reside near to those places!

Nice confronting you with comments here on steemit dear Daniel. നല്ലൊരു ശുഭദിനം നേരുന്നു!

Wow this is amazing @d-pend, it's like you were painting a magnificent imageries.

Sublime - ruination - pastel - daydreams
Here in adult daycare, the ghost town of glass

Here is an amazing picture of the tactless things men do, when you use the word adult daycare it's an amazing example of oxymoron which tend to quantify how beautifully you've taken your poetry to another level.
This is amazing I was rather musing a little bit of humor at the end for me,
It's awesome and you're in Tennessee right?

Please take your girlfriend or wife out, it's Valentine's Day buddy

@josediccus Used to be in Tennessee, now I live in North Carolina in the mountains :-)
Actually, I am single, but nonetheless I appreciate the thought my friend! Have a great day.

beautiful!! your feeling, your heart, your creativity your simplicity I absolutely like everything you write, thanks for letting see a little of what is inside your soul, heart and mind.
for many of us makes us vibrate with emotions, new, lived, found ... congratulations you are a @d-pend man who has the grace to heal a heart without having to open it.

And the spirit is strong coming through your words @joelgonz1982. What an experience we share following the ever-new rivers of sentiment which spiral from the universal dynamo throughout all space and time.

read something new something cool, poetry that comes from the soul that makes the imagination fly, thanks for sharing your thoughts every day

Wonderful voyage into the machine @d-pend. And in pink for a celebration of St. Valentine.
I like this line the best:

"A bloom - through binary - hymns and denunciations
Silica dodecahedral heart - quartz brain - tears of tar."

This is the truth of digital recording and art production as seen in fractals and algorithmic kaleidoscopes that play on our fancy. The computer opens a wonderful array of art and opportunity to share it. We get inspiration from others, build on their works and we have a finished product that doesn't say "me" but "us".

Thank you so much for sharing a poem everyday and "Happy Valentines Day" if you haven't heard it already.

Hi @mineopoly!! Happy Valentine's Day to you as well :-D
You are spot on about the collective nature of our artistic growth. It's quite exciting that all of the records will be preserved through digital memory and strengthen the legacies we build. In a world of doomsday criers, it is wonderful to attempt to stay neutral and see the benefits and drawbacks of technology with a steady mind.

You are very welcome, and I really appreciate all your feedback! Have a great one my friend.

Computers cannot outperform human beings. If we are talking about stamina and endurance well of course computer machines will win because humans get's tired and needs to rest. In the case of mathematical calculations, computer can beat humans.

But even though there's AI, it still cannot beat humans because computers cannot mimic human behavior. Computers don't have emotions and computer don't or cannot feel. Thanks for sharing this wonderful poetry @d-pend

Thanks for stopping by my blog and adding your insight @garokee! I appreciate it.

You're Welcome @d-pend .. I appreciate it. I love poetry and i love your blog that is why I always visit everyday. This is also the reason why I followed you. Cheers!

No matter a computer is, they can't be compared with humans. Nice poetry. And Happy valentine's day in advance. Would you write a love poem?😊

Yes I agree @nmalove. Thank you. Happy Valentine's to you as well! Sure - I will post something in synchronicity with this holiday a bit later :-)

Thanks for your comment!

@d-pend, Wow...Sound would be awesome... Nice pattern of writing indeed. Very thoughtful ideas indeed poem writing. You wrote amazing stylish using. This is thoughts of human workers. Is this computer programing poem ?

Human-assisted techno-generated strangeverse

there is a big crack between man and computer

Very interesting you are so diverse I love it! Have a happy night Daniel😊

You as well @cecirod1218! :-D

Brilliant! I always appreciate the notes :)

An interesting read once again.
But i believe that with the exponential growth in technology we are witnessing, maybe one day AI with their "Silica dodecahedral heart" of "quartz" and brains of "tears of tar", could match human efficiency.

Very interesting poetry entire @d-pend. That's brilliant post. Various looks has from another your posts. It almost can mixing thoughts. Appreciate all your effort. Thank you for sharing.

genius idea my dear i always followed your works you are talented you can see im your fan

Thanks @soufianechakrouf! I will post something love-related a bit later today :-) Thankfully, even those of us who are single can tap into the powerful energy of unconditional love and compassion - much more than simply romance. Have an awesome day!

yes you are right i wrote something about love in my last post with original drawing feel free to take a look maybe you like it

Hello @d-pend,

This poem reminded me of a statement by Mark Cuban. Many of us are aware that in a few years most of the jobs we take for granted will be lost to machines. Under this emerging paradigm, Cuban asserts that only people in the Arts and Humanities will be employable. Machines as we know can mimic, not create, so I don’t expect a Marquez or Walcott to emerge from cyberspace.

But who knows? I had to question what Cuban said because of what has transpired in the AI world recently. I am not certain if you heard but a team that was working on an project had to shut down the machines because they were developing their own language and conversing with each other. And while we don’t know the extent of this, or what they were even saying, I wonder if it will get to a point where machines will be able to become artistic and eventually start to write poems like you do. Who knows.

We are on the cusp of something monumental re: AI. That said, I am almost certain machines will never be able to pull off what you just did. It was a wonderful read. Only human beings can do the things that you are doing. To delve into the inner recesses of the heart and body and soul is something I believe can come only from the human experience. We are flesh. It is only flesh, as far as I know, that can weep, and laugh and love and hate. Until machines can do that, creativity belongs to us and us alone.

But maybe by and by something else will emerge when we fuse the organic and the inorganic. What does one write when one is part man/part machine? I guess I am off topic and rambling here. But these are the issues and questions that arose from reading your piece. I guess I will have to leave it here and hope posterity will reveal the things we do not know.

It's different type poem . Nice

Well its nice stuff about #computer & machines which electronic by humen.

I was amazed by the computer poem, it's beautiful. It's my first time to know that a computer could really make some cool and beautiful poems. Thank you for sharing @d-pends.

Hi dpend.. You are no doubt an amazing man
How you write such brilliant and different wirding..
This is digital period..
Compyters are everywhere but no comparison of human mind and computers

It's really great and fantastic about art and machine @d-pend. Art has always excited, in a complex symbiotic and continually evolving relationship with the technological capabilites of a culture.
poetry allows us to explore the depths of what means to be human. It evokes emotion, imagination and connection between author and reader.
I really like your poetry. Your mind is like a machine and works very amazingly.

the continuation of the topic?
like the style of this poem - very laconic but very precise at the same time, each word has its strickt meaning and power
a very precise scheme and logical narration - all machines and robots are creatures of logic and direct сommands.
The perfect style for this very theme.

Haunting line, Daniel, in a dystopian, absurdist piece:

Here in adult daycare, the ghost town of glass

I’ve been meditating, too, in poetry/video on the ghosts trapped in the machine - our wandering restless spirits - seeking connection in an online world.

I like what you say about (he)Art being the last domain where machines cannot compete with humans.

Cheers ✌🏼

Tech Poetry lol
Love the way you try new things with the markdown.

I must confess...this is my first time reading a poem writing in computer terms. Nice one there.

You took me to an amazing land of living machines with sentiments and feelings.

A strange feeling - just around the corner

I appreciate flight of your imagination and flow of your amazing thoughts.

Hi!! I really liked your writing! I'm thinking about starting a contest for both poets and musicians who'd like to join and make some art together! If you like the idea, I'd love to know and for you to spread the word around the writers' community ♥

Love!

Carla

A Unique idea presented in a very spectacular way.

To write a poetry You must have feelings, is Impossible for computers to outperform humans, a poetry is send emotions.
