Ragged Dick is a series a books written by Horatio Alger Jr. in the mid 1800s. I was able to read the first book in the series when I was very young. On steemhost.com I have completed compiling the first two books in the series "Ragged Dick" and "Fame and Fortune". While the chapters were individually posted on steemit.com, steemhost allows them to be accessed in compilations.
Not only can you find the written text, but each chapter is linked to its librivox recording... allowing you to listen as you read.
