Good afternoon Steemit on this wonderful Monday! Been 11 days since my last blog. Been rather busy in life as of late. Things are starting to slow back down at least for time being. Hurricane Irma took up a lot of my time.

Relentless Assault of the Bark

With no electricity and everyone’s windows open last thing you wanted to hear at 2 in the morning was -- Bark, bark, barrrrrk. Relentless assault of tones, a group of dogs; as if, they were signing. Owners long given up on providing any relief to the community around them.

Sizzling Warm like a Hotdog

Lights flickering dead, fan on ac stop scraping the sides. Sounds came to a halt. Utter silences expect the warm sun rising from clouds as it baked the landscape. Sizzling like a hotdog on the grill. By high toon centrally any grill master would have stop cooking by then.

Information

I got the idea for 50 word stories from @literature-trail. I am using some of the past words (bark, and warm) used in his contests as they give me the opportunity to use a word I did not pick. This creates a challenge for me in a way I would not have otherwise just finding words I myself like.
