Ah.. the dreaded writers block. So you've been struggling to come up with new creative content for Steemit? I'm going to provide you with some practical ideas which you can use to "get unstuck". These will not only work for writing but for any type of creative person. Artist's, writers, designers etc.

The worst thing you can do if you're stuck is to try force whatever you're doing. Don't just write for the sake of writing. Obviously depending on your line of work, sometimes it is necessary to force the creativity due to deadlines and such. I'm not going to talk about that, your work will always be better if the inspiration comes naturally, but how do you do it?
Pace yourself and figure out your motivations
I found my motivation for this post because of having a creative block block myself. My motivation was "How can I provide value to my fellow Steemers?" So I got researching some of the many ways to overcome creative blocks. This is what I discovered.
Manage your time effectively
The reason why you are able to pace yourself as a creator is because you have the time to. If you leave everything to the last minute, you'll always be under the gun. When you try to rush creativity it will almost always not be your best work.
One way you can manage your time more effectively is by categorizing it from the most urgent to the least urgent, when you do this effectively, you will know exactly what you must concentrate on first. Once you've completed those tasks which are most urgent, you can move on to the tasks which might not be as urgent and release your full creative potential.
Commit yourself to your project
This is the first step to unleashing your full potential. If you're always doing something half assed, you might get a lot done but your work will never be it's best. If you're not 100% committed to your craft, you have to ask yourself, why are you even doing it in the first place?
So if you've thought about it and you're sure that this is what you want to be doing. Recommit to it, reassure yourself that this is your current purpose and make a promise to yourself that you will give 100% to it.

Creativity is a mental state
If you're ever feeling down or on a plateau with your craft, close your eyes try visualize a time when you were feeling really inspired. Feel your body and let the thoughts flow, no matter what they are. Uncensored like the blockchain which this is written on.
Embrace this feeling which comes to mind and really try feel it, heck, I want you to be it. Put on music if you need to, something that really used to inspire you growing up, or look at a piece of art. Once you feel that feeling of being inspired, I want you to try and connect with that feeling. What does it actually feel like?
Point is, creativity is a state of mind and you can always alter your state of mind. It is in your control. You can put yourself back in this creative state with a bit of patience and self control.
Great post! It's funny, ever since "fully committing" to Steemit, I've just been abundant in ideas. Every thing I do during the day turns to "can this add value to the Steemit community?"
As far as general writing tips go I'm a big fan of the pomodoro technique, that is writing (or any task) for a FOCUSED small amount of time maybe 30 minutes or so. No internet, no distractions etc. It goes a super long way.
If I'm ever feeling stuck, I also like to record my thoughts in a phone. rarely do I ever have a "speaking block" so to speak, I'll then transcribe my thoughts into words -- it's worked well for me so far.

As a poker player I used to use the pomodoro technique a lot to always be at my A game whilst playing. Now I know what it's called.
You're lucky, I have speaking block, so I'm the opposite, it may be easier for me to write something first to be able to speak it :P interesting though. Thanks.
