협력(Cooperation)

협력이야말로 창의성의 한계를 뛰어넘는 비결이라고 생각한다.
나는 시카고의 즉흥극 극단에 소속된 배우들이 무대 위에서
즉흥적으로 대사를 만드는 방법을 10년 동안 연구하면서
협력이야말로 집단 즉흥극의 성패를 좌우하는 열쇠라고
확신했다. 비즈니스 세계에서도 한 팀의 탁월한 협력,
즉 그룹 지니어스를 통해 혁신이 이루어지는 과정을 수없이 지켜보았다.
대학을 졸업하던 1980년대 초, 나는 세계적인 게임업체 아타리(Atari)에서
비디오 게임을 디자인하며 사회생활을 시작했다.
아타리에서 출시된 게임들은 모두 끊임없는 협력과 의견교환을 거치며
진화를 거듭했다.

Cooperation is not a solo, but a chorus.
Each one has his own voice. Listen to the other.
We're going to create a harmony. But that harmony isn't going to work at all.
But, it is only possible when you practice and practice repeatedly.
If you cooperate, home, work, country, whatever you work for,
The community can be a genius.
Become a great creator.
