Good morning! Timelapse Photo #32 and Some Trio Drama.

Took the dogs out for their walk and ran them at the park a bit, left them good and worn out!

I was unable to write up either of the bigger stories I have planned last night after work, but I have a pretty good excuse.

My trio get off the bus everyday, then let the dogs out and walk immediately over to the Boys and Girls Club.

They call me every day by 3:15 while I am at work to confirm they have arrived. I left work at 3:30 yesterday and they still had not called.

I gave them a few minutes, thinking maybe Hiro (the brown dog) could be giving them some grief as he sometimes does.

When I still got no call I called the Club, at this point thinking they had just forgotten to call me. Obviously the only explanation for why.

So I called the Club. They haven't arrived. The next bus does not come for half an hour and it takes almost an hour to get home.

I tell them to have the trio call me as soon as they arrive.

I call the school, everybody has left and nobody answeres. I call the transportation company and it is confirmed that the trio were dropped off at home at the normal time.

I called @abigscheit in tears. My kids are missing! She dropped what she's doing to come pick me up and speed race accross the city home. The entire time, no call. We're going on 45 minutes with no word from my kids.

My imagination is going wild. What if somebody took them? What if they stopped to play in this?

What if they aren't home?! We pull up and I bail, running up the steps. Back packs on the stairs. Open the door. They're sitting on the couch watching #Naruto.

I. Fucking. Lost it. Collapsed on the floor crying. I swear to god I have 10 years taken from me. They had no idea what to do, just stood there awkwardly while I bawled my fucking eyes out.

Apparently they felt slightly car sick after their bus ride so they decided to stay home.

And this is the story of why I will be buying my 9-year-old a cell phone with my next paycheck.

I died inside and they were chillin' watching a movie and eating snacks. I feel as though the discombobulation created by this incident was a good enough excuse to skip writing yesterday. Ugh! Little devil children!

Super nice day out you guys. My newly gray hair and I shall tempt to enjoy it from the confines of work.
