The plan for yesterday was for us to go downtown, but Inari threw quite the fit over a stick, so we ended up staying home.
But, going downtown today to catch the bus to work, it looks like we missed a pretty large protest yesterday. Chalk messages everywhere.
A lot of the same slogans from #StandingRock are used here, we're fighting the same thing. Oil ruining our environment and taking away our clean water.

Here in Colorado we are sitting to hear if oil drilling or exploration or something is going to be allowed next to the Sand Dunes, in the national park.
I'm already in talks with a small group planning to go down and camp out in protest if it gets approved. We won't know if it will for a few more months at the earliest.
