Timelapse Photo #33

I cannot lie, I have had a crazy long day, so I'm feeling way too lazy right now.

I did one of those "it's gotta get messier before it gets cleaner" clean-ups of the house today, then took the kids to the library and down to Canal Park.

When we left it was beautiful out. Warm, sunshiney, perfect for our planned day.

By the time we got on the bus the sky was cloud covered, it was windy and cold. Typical Duluth, lol! But did we give up? Nae!

So we scurried on down and played in the sand.

The above is a mystery structure in my life. It's a big wooden something, perched at the edge of #LakeSuperior.

And usually, my trio cannot be seen once they go inside to climb around and play. But with that last storm we had, it's filled nearly to the top with substrate and rocks!

What a difference a storm makes! Maybe Lady Superior decided she was tired of looking at it and tried burying it!

It was an interesting day, even though we got rained on, lol! We gathered a bunch of sticks from the beach, I'm going to attempt a neat art project, if it turns out halfway decent I'll show you guys, ha!

Here's the church.

Have a great night everyone!

Mystery structures make for the best imaginative play. Looks like a castle ruin to me.

At least a ruin. There probably was something built there earlier, then destroyed by some earlier storm.

I asked about it on a local page and nobody offered any ideas on what it is. There's another one actually in the water, but that one's history is well known.

Great writing
and wonderful photography

Have a nice day @hickorymack ,,,
Where I live this storm is also scary, so I rarely out of the house,
I hope you are fine.
