Earlier today friends came to my room and where discussing, one of them was so frustrated, that at his age he was so broke, that he was very sad...this guy is around 22/23. I won't blame him, you know being a man in this part if the world is so, stressful and frustrating that you tend to make wrong mistakes that we nearly always regret.
However I came to understand this as the early stage of becoming a man, most guys experience such phenomenon at this age in their life which may be cause by peer pressure, family or a lover, sometimes it's caused by the burning desire to make it in life.
I would like to liken this stage to the rite of passage in traditional African societies.... Where by at a certain age, you are incorporated into the adult group in the society... Like the popular adage says"being a man is never a day's job... This is so true. Because at the beginning, you go through strenuous parts that you feel you will pass out any moment, but like a friend once said this should never weigh you down, just expect more difficult times at this early stage, and pray to God to give you the strength to overcome.... Hope we all went to Church today... God bless us all... Happy Sunday steemians
