Laughter, Joy, Hatred, Ignorance, love and compassion.
I joined Steemit in July 2016 so I've been here for 2 years. I never got the chance, well, the opportunity to become a "Steemit-star". I'm far away from being some sort of legend on Steemit... In fact, most of you have probably never heard of me and the truth is that this specific article will most likely be missed by the majority of Steemians.
I have had great payouts on multiple articles. I have earned thousands of dollars on Steemit... Because of you, the platform and due to my passion, hard work and effort... But I am not a legend, even though one could think that any Steemian who signed up in the early days are highly rewarded and have tremendous support by whales.
This is not a complaint... This is a wake up call to all Steemians who believe they're "entitled" great rewards for everything they do. I've spent endless amount of hours on and off Steemit to bring people to the platform, to help, support and assist users and to spread awareness. I called myself a support pillar and I took that role, because I saw enough potential in myself to be of help to others. I was alone when I first joined Steemit... And I had no help. I had to learn everything by myself... And I have for a very long time strived to pave the way for others and be of help for others... The help I never had myself.
That is why I have written and published a multitude of different guides and "how-to's" on Steemit... And that is why I delegate all my Steem Power to others.
I Don't Complain...
I do what I do because I truly believe it is for the greater good. Even if Steemit would end up in the gutter, I am certain of the fact that my deeds will not be forgotten. I am certain of the fact that I have made friends, and even though they might not be for life, I know I have made many friends who will stand by my side if we are forced to look elsewhere, for any reason. I have the @asapers, and even though I'm far away from being the driving force and far away from doing the heavy lifting... I know that the things I do and the things I have done, will be remembered by many people in the future.
I tried to do my own thing. I tried to find raw talent and I saw potential in some amazing Steemians from around the world. We successfully launched the @asapers and this group of individuals are working hard to help each other in various ways. We are not doing this to become filthy rich and take advantage of insanely large delegations from whales... We do this with the small tools we can use and we do this due to our compassion and love for others.
We do this, because we believe we can and will have an impact in people's lives. The @asapers have a total of ~1300 Steem Power and we can't give away more than cents... But we have shared our rewards with ~225 people at the time I'm writing this.
- How often have you shared your rewards with anyone?
The @asapers is more than reward-sharing though. We help people. We feature authors, share the rewards and we resteem articles. We are nothing near other large curation teams out there, but we are different.

I Love Money Too...
Seriously, don't think for a second that I'm trying to sound like Mother Teresa. I love money and I need money too... But instead of trying to live off of my Steemit earnings today, I am trying to look further. It's easy to earn money on Steemit, if you're in it with the "get rich quick" type of mindset, but I tell you right now... It's the wrong approach.
Ask yourself this:
What can I do today, that I will benefit from in the near future?
This is why my delegations to others and specifically the @asapers are my main priorities on Steemit. - I could easily use my Steem Power to earn more myself... But I say no to such amount of rewards today, because I know it will benefit me in the long run.
I cash out, I power up and I power down... That's the truth. I do all of these things from time to time. And I strongly recommend everyone to do the same.
It's the "icing on the cake" so to speak. That's the reward you get for your contributions, your time and effort on this platform. So make sure to cash out every now and then because that will boost your motivation to contribute further on too... And those are contributions everyone on the platform is glad to see.
I am not a legend. I am not filthy rich and I don't live in a million dollar house. I don't own a Ferrari or a Bugatti... But I've been here for 2 years already. I've seen the ups and downs. I've witnessed many good and bad things... And I am still here.
Gaming Related Content
For those of you who wonder about all the gaming-videos I've been sharing lately. I have not quit Steemit and I have not stopped to publish written articles either. (As you can see by this article.)
However, I am trying new things and I enjoy the simplicity of @dlive with the uploads. I will continue to share gaming related content, (mostly videos from my live streams) and hopefully start to live stream on @dlive too in the near future. I am still looking for an easy way to stream on both twitch and dlive at the same time. Most preferably without quality-loss and stuff like that, which is why I haven't tried to stream on dlive as of yet.
As soon as (you help me) I find a decent option, I'll definitely try it out! - No matter if and when I start to stream on dlive, I'll continue to upload gaming related content because I find it amusing and I would love to build a gaming-audience on Steemit.
The best way to contact me is through comments on my articles or on Discord
I do have a life outside of Steemit and the @asapers, and I often get multiple messages each day so it might take some time for me to respond. Feel free to message me again if you haven't heard anything in a few hours or a day.

I like ASAPERS. I like what it stands for. Most of all I like the people. Honest, helpful people who constantly give. The platform is better of for it. They by far are not large but they make up for it with their personnel touch and get to know every member. It is a joy interacting with them.
If that is not the building blocks of a ledgin what is ?
Congrats on the 2 years
