"I Want To Encourage, Motivate, Inspire And Help Others Around Me."
These are my own words and this is something I strive towards. I want to make a difference. For someone, somewhere. Even if it would be just for a little bit.
- Both on Steemit but also in life.
I have often called myself a "support pillar" and even though I am a self-proclaimed one, I still truly believe that I am what I say I am. I also believe that this shows in most of my articles and in my contributions. I believe I have showed that in the ebooks I have written and I believe that both my clients, my friends and my family members have noticed that too.
I also believe that to be one of the main reasons for people to follow me on Steemit. I believe that is the reason for some people to support me with upvotes and encouraging comments on my articles.
I have been through many ups and downs on Steemit but also in life, and even though I still don't feel truly comfortable sharing too much personal things, I have started to do it more and more and I am not afraid of doing that. I was afraid. Afraid of what others would say or think. Afraid of what would happen if someone didn't like what I had to say... - I was afraid, but with time and the growing support, I have started to become more satisfied and comfortable.
Steemit gave me the opportunity no one had ever given me before. It took me a long time to realize that, and truth to be told, I don't know if I have fully realized it or not... But I am thankful for the opportunity and I personally believe that I have become a better person since I joined Steemit. Steemit have changed my life, or changed me. In some sense.
What One Person Can Accomplish On Steemit Is Incredible.
I have already shared many things about me and I have talked about @fulltimegeek and his generosity previous too. I have also shared things I have been able to do due to the generous delegation I got and I have written stories about how wonderful I think it is. - The opportunity I've got is amazing and I can truly feel that I make a change with the use of @fulltimegeek's delegation. I am sorry for this rather long "intro" on this article, but I wanted to show my appreciation once again... And I wanted to tell you how awesome it is to see one person make such a huge difference for so many others.
I have been inspired to write something like this for a long time but due to a few recent comments on my previous articles, I decided to write this with the little "twist" I do. Instead of sharing only facts I also share my "personal story" so to speak. After all, that is what I usually do. I share things based on my own opinions, my feelings, thoughts and ideas. I share my knowledge and my own experience.
This will be no different.
@fulltimegeek has a total of 366,970.61 Steem Power. Instead of using the Steem Power to earn curation rewards by upvotes or instead of self-voting to earn a good deal of author rewards, he delegates almost everything to others. For free.
Here's The List Of People He Delegates:
49 Steemians in total.
I am one out of the 49 lucky Steemians who've received a delegation. And I got 5000 Steem Power. This extra 5000 SP I have, enables me to spread my votes across the platform even wider and I can "spread the wealth" and reward many other authors due to the extra power I have. The people who've been delegated the powers are what we call:
Here's some of the details from the #stewardsofgondor.
Source
As you can see, even though the numbers went down this week compared to the others, we reach between ~10,000 and 11,000 Steemians each week. These unique Steemians often recieves more than 2 upvotes per week judging by the numbers and that basically means that one single person, (@fulltimegeek), spreads the wealth of his Steem Power across several thousand users each week.
He would never be able to reach this huge mass of people if he voted manually by himself but with the delegations, one person can have this insane impact on our beloved platform we call Steemit.
THANK YOU @fulltimegeek!
We Are Not Done Yet...
Even though what I have said so far would be more than enough and more than what we actually might deserve... @fulltimegeek's generosity and mindset doesn't only boost motivation and inspire us. He also gives us some cool "fairy dust", which encourage many of us to "pay it forward" with delegations of their own.
Take me for instance. Even though I do not delegate any Steem Power at this time, I have already made a promise that I will start to delegate 500 Steem Power for each 1000 Steem Power I get. And truth to be told, I would probably not have done that, if @fulltimegeek never made all of these delegations to begin with.
It Takes Only One Person To Make A Change.
And while we're at it, just to give you even more "meat" so to speak. @goldendawne is one person who will start to delegate SP to others. She's one of the Stewards of Gondor who've received a delegation from @fulltimegeek.
We also have @wwf who've already delegated SP to others.
We, the #stewardsofgondor wants to make a difference. We will make a difference. And we work hard to make a difference each day!
We want to "pay it forward", and we want to do all of that thanks to @fulltimegeek and his generosity. Most of us have probably always wanted to have impact and make a difference, but @fulltimegeek gives us literally everything we need to do it. He gives us not only SP. He encourage us. He motivate us, inspire us and he support us.
- Thank you very much @fulltimegeek!
Nice post. Thank you for putting that together and encouraging others to pay it forward. It is an honour to have another Steward of Gondor writing about the work that the group is doing. Bravo fellow Steward! Nice to meet you.

You truly are right, it takes one person mostly to create a ripple that affects thousands of people simultaneously in not just doing good but also inculcating the habit of passing the good one from yourself to others. You and @goldendawne are already on that path to spread the awesomeness and help those in the community who want to contribute to it positively and effectively. Thanks to you and of course @fulltimegeek for this great and noble initiatve.

Yeah, I can't even describe how honored and grateful I am for the opportunity. Not only that I am one of rather few users who've recieved a delegation, but also because of the tremendous boost of encouragement and motivation FTG has given me. It's amazing to see what all the Stewards are able to do because of his generosity.

It's like a gift that keeps on giving. This is only the beginning. As Steemit grows, more and more will be inspired to take the same steps, like ripples in a body of water. The stone has been thrown and this is only the starting ripples. Good luck and more power :)
