~5 Hours Of Writing Removed.
That's right. I just cleared this entire field. I deleted everything. I had images and an insanely long article on the way, but out of nowhere, I decided to delete it. This would've been the longest article I'd ever written. It would've been filled with details I've never shared before... But I suddenly felt like not sharing it, so I had to delete it all.
Talk about a waste of time...
As it began yesterday already, after a discussion I had, I probably spent 5-6 perhaps even 7 hours in total. However, this is far from the first time I'm doing this. I actually do this quite often. There are things you can share, and I felt that this would've been something great, for you and for me, but I just couldn't do it.
These actions stops me from publishing posts, but it often boosts my motivation or become the inspiration for other things. Although these things are good, it still hurts to realize how much time I spent doing literally nothing at all...
Have you ever felt or experienced the same thing?
That you're going all-in on something and drastically just change your mind mid-way? I wonder why I do it, and I hate wasting so much time, but at the end of the day, I'm pretty satisfied anyways.
This scenario is very common with me. In fact, I initially cleared the entire field of this comment and started from scratch again. It wouldn't have been the best comment I'd ever written you know

We learn from everything. Everything we do and think changes us in some way. It's hard for me to declare time spent as wasted anymore. Unless it holds up an immediate agenda. Then it is short term waste.
Rather than wasted, perhaps it was just a mental exercise.

Not exactly but a similar thing. Somehow i get the motivation to do something and i am pumped and if let's say 1-2 hours pass i say screw it :P
