You Suddenly Have 1000 SBD.
What Would You Do?

Imagine that you wake up and find 1000 SBD in your wallet, or that someone suddenly transfer 1000 SBD to you. This is not about the likelihood for something like that to happen. This is just for fun. Out of nowhere, you now have 1000 SBD which you didn't have just a minute ago. - What would you do?

At the time I'm writing this, SBD are worth:

Also, let's say that you would be able to keep everything, without any transaction costs or any other fees. You would have 1000 SBD or $6710 USD.

This Is What I Would Do:

The first thing I would do, is to pay my student debt, so I would become eligible a new student loan for an upcoming education that starts in March. - I want to become a treatment assistant and focus on teenagers who suffers from mental illness, so I would definitely need a student loan for this.

This would cost approximately $3100.

$3610 Remains.

I would take the woman I love on a superb vacation. I haven't travelled anywhere since I was a kid. Well, at least not these last 15 years, so a nice, awesome vacation somewhere would've been fantastic. Honestly speaking, the location wouldn't matter, as long as I could travel somewhere with the woman I love. Greece? Spain? - Doesn't matter.

I would probably have spent all the money by now... But in case there would be something left, I would probably spend them on a nice meal or two on a restaurant or perhaps bought myself some new clothes when I got home from the vacation.

So without giving this too much thought...

What would you do?

Well, I’d like to say that I’d power up all of it. But, really I’d have to pull it out and pay on my student loans! Maybe I’d power up 25% and use 75% to pay on my loans.

Split down the middle with my beautiful wife @insideoutlet and we would both power up we would like to build something here.

However im about try a fund raising post for the worlds greatest shave so if it happened in relation to that it all goes to the leukaemia foundation

I think I would buy a breeding pair of Angora rabbits, pay for new tires on my mother’s truck and get my husband and son new workboots. That would use up about $1,200 worth of the SBD. The rest I would move to SP.

That doesn't sound too bad at all actually. What would you do with the rabbits? Sell?
I like how many of you are saying "invest in SP". That's pretty cool to hear. :)

Angora rabbits have rediculously soft hair that is used to make yarn. I want to learn to spin the yarn for sale and for personal use. And some of the babies would be sold to fund the purchase of new rabbits to add to the DNA stock and have a few breeding pair. Once I had three or four breeding pair, I would continue to sell about half of them for profit. I'd like to share the other half. I'd like to teach 4-H and FFA kids how to care for them and let them have them for show animals. I would love to be able to give breeding pairs to people who are interested in farming and agriculture for a living and self-sufficiency who are having a hard time getting started. And Angora rabbits are absolutely beautiful and adorable and very calm and peaceful, so I think they would make good therapy animals for visiting hospitals, nursing homes and such.

Hmm,$6k would help me get my reef frag tank set up and a hand full of corals to start propagating . then within a year hopefully turn that hobby into a job i can enjoy .

I'd take 20% out for other altcoin investments and convert the rest to steem. Speaking of which, i should have probably done that when the SBD price hit $14 a while back.

Yeah.. I wish I had SBD when they hit $14. I sold everything starting at $2.5 and up to $9 or something like that. Was able to get only a handful SBD for $12. - I should've hodl. :D

Hahaha was debating HODL with a friend recently. It can work spectacularly and fail miserably as the bitconnect folks will attest to.

When you get 1000 SBD, let me help you find some great travel deals. I am literally the best at finding cheap flights/hotels. No one can beat me, fact.

What I would do with 1000 SBD? I would gut out my car, and redesign it for a place to live in. Then I would travel the country documenting my 1-2 year voyage all over the states and Canada. I honestly couldn't live off of the 6k for 2 years, but that would at least get me started with the car mods and on the road, and then from there I am 100% certain I'd be able to live on the road. I own a Prius, so I get 48+ miles a gallon, the car is paid off, so I'd have practically no bills.

Honestly, just what I am starting to make off of Steem would allow me to live on the road. I just want more than a 3 week history though, lmao. Need to know that this time of thing will be continuous, or if it's just a flash in the pan.

I'd spend about $400 worth on bills, the rest I'd buy Steem with and power up!

That's awesome. I knew someone would say that though and I thought about it myself too.. But then again, why would I invest in Steem Power with 1000 SBD I got out of nowhere when I'm longing for other things? It just didn't feel right.

Give me 2000 SBD and I'll power up 1000 SBD! :D

This is a what would you do and a spur of the moment gift and a spur of the moment answer, This could change if I thought to long about it. 1000 SBD's, I am going to believe there is parity with steem, so I would power it up, instant 1000SP added to my account. I would then delegate 500 to each @mudcat36 and to @davemccoy for their resteem a newbie day project. #resteemanewbieday, to help brand new user to steemit become familiar with it.

That's todays this moments thoughts. I am pretty sure though that I would power it up to SP. It was free after all, so why stress myself trying to knock myself out to spend it on a frivolous thing, when I could help a whole lot of other people.

Calculate how much I need to buy a Great Mining Computer and start mining BTC. :D
Then I will cash out the amount I require.

I have any SBD left, I will turn them into steem power while the Price of Steem is still down.

Well I wanted to start mining because I think, before 2019, the BTC price will rise way higher than before.. More than 20K USD..
According to our currency, 1 BTC = The price of BTC in USD * The price of USD in BDT. That's more than to keep us going on for almost a year.

I spend half of the money for buying delicious food for the homeless because they cant experience eating in a restaurant .I want to feel them that they also important in this world .but I also save half my money to the education of my son because education is all I can give to him..thank you vow hehe!!!!

Oh, that's nice. Educations are often very important so to pay your son's education would definitely be a good thing. To give food to the homeless would also be a good thing to do.

I'd probably use 500 to power up, and the rest I'd invest 250 or so in advertising for my art business, maybe another 100 on some some inventory, with the rest pay all my bills for a month.

One of my first jobs was in a call center that did debt consolidation. I heard all sorts of stories from people whose lives were basically ruined by debt. I don't have a lot of savings, but, I don't have any debt either, and I own all my own art merch inventory for my biz. Most of my friends would need at least 20K-30K just to be as broke as I am lol

Donate 5% to local food shelters. 5%. to a family I know who could use it. 10% to my cousins. 30% on building a new computer. Let the other 50% sit in my wallet. Power up and keep upvoting.

I would take

50% and power up my @sumatranate account and another account I want to start that focuses on the #notlikeme initiative
25% and buy more Bitshares
25% to help buy for some bills.
