J had told me to prepare for today so well..., I did, I was all dressed up waiting for him when he called me to say he would be having a test and would be unable to make it for the event today.
Damn, my mood plummeted, I asked him what he wanted to do, then he asked if I was willing to cover the event, in his stead,
Yes, yes, yes I said I was happy, not because I was covering the event but because once again, today wouldn't be boring.
He came to my place from which we both headed to school, I went to cover the event, he went for his test.
I arrived at the venue earlier than we planned, I met some of the clients there already and one of the ladies whom by this time my feelings of attraction for had developed into a crush was there, I knew I liked her, there was no escaping it this time for me.
I smiled at the realization of that.
I walked up to them took a couple of pictures, for them, after which they started calling they remaining member's to come to the venue, I took pictures as they arrived, some making individual requests,
I obliged,
Took their pictures and was about to take another when I saw her, she saw me about to take the picture, she smiled,
Damn, I flushed, she is beautiful but with that smiled on her face my heart was smothered, I smiled, took the camera of my face looked at her again, this time not because of her smile or her beauty, but because at this point my heart was racing for her, I was beginning to fall head over heels for her but she would never know, I took more pictures of the event, and just at the highlight of the event the memory card of the camera got full,
I knew how to do several things on the camera but deleting, I never thought was important till this moment, how was I to tell them that I couldn't take their pictures again, I tried over and over, but to no avail, I finally had to tell them, they were disappointed, but I was disappointed in myself more, we had to end the event there not because they were done but because of my ignorance and I felt stupid.
Although this Wednesday was literarily Woman Crush Wednesday for me, I couldn't feel happy.
