Who knew? That could happen? What happened? Unbelievable!
For those unfamiliar with the genre of fictional reality, the art form is the capture of real events and turning those events into fiction, a story, a recounting. All fictional reality is witnessed by the author(s) and must be written about during their one's lifetime.
First person writing is acceptable, but third person or narrative is best and considered noteworthy while the first is amateurish, unless done in a powerful manner. The difference between fictional reality and news is that writings are not just a report of who, what, where, when, how and why from the north, east, west, and south. The genre includes the opinions, insights, observations, suppositions, superstitions, feelings, and emotions of all the characters from the point of view of the author.
Fictional reality is a capture of all that society and civilization perceive to be true and reveals that there is always something more to witness, an events, or an interaction no one understands that must be examined, explored and told as a story, embellished upon, and told taller each time it is retold.
Not fantasy at all, and more like the sighting of an extra-terrestrial being, UFO craft, ghost, spirit or deity, this genre can be the start of what makes a legend long down the road.
The best of fictional reality exposes what we do not know and tells about it keeping scientists and investigators employed from the hard to the humanities while keeping the identities of those observed at whatever they did or were subjected to a secret, anonymous.
A respect for privacy and a disdain for derision of those who experienced what was before thought impossible the basic internal essence of the genre is discovery and exploration of the human condition and can be as simple as a couple interacting in a new way, a mother's or father's insight into one or all of their children.
The basis of all the art produced is real in this very wonderful genre of writing.
Also a favourite genre of mine! I think there's also a channel on steemit.chat called creative non fiction which I guess is the same. I love authentic, personal stories told creatively- do you know "The Moth"? http://themoth.org They've got loads of really good podcasts you can listen to- although they are all first person narratives.
