I've been feeling the urge to express myself through writing lately. I've always enjoyed reading and have had fantasies of penning some kind of epic tale eventually. Your post is exactly in line with things I have been considering; "where to start? what makes a compelling story or plot?"

Awesome! That is a big question, but there are answers. If you look at the last post I did, the post before this one, on Steemit or on my blog, I have a lot of learning resources mentioned in there. Also, for coming up with ideas, quite a few of my posts over the last couple of months have started with Generating Ideas for Writing. In each of those posts I go over some method for coming up with story ideas, and there are a number of those posts. Check some of them out and let me know what you think.
