Estos barcos se crearon apartir de la idea de tener un poder absoluto sobre el territorio maritimos, los primer que salieron furon barcos con no mas de 40 cañones, y amedida que pasaba el tiempo hiban aumentando su poderio, definitivamente este barco marco la linea de el poder, pues los demas anteriores barcos pasaron a ser un segundo plano.
