Amanece de nuevo

Amanece de nuevo
El sol resalta el verde follaje
Y el verde contrasta con el rojo,
Sangre derramada en esta tierra
Quiero cubrir con ese verde la Tierra toda...
Que la selva cubra el concreto,
Las raíces perforen los silos
Que se extienda por todo el globo la esperanza
Que las enredaderas trepen las torres,
Los troncos levanten las aceras y el asfalto
Que del rocío se hagan caudales
Que lleguen al gran río
Y mas allá al océano
A la costa de coral
Que se extienda por todo el globo la vida
La vida rebosante que ofrenda el sol, la selva, el mar…

It dawns again

It dawns again
The sun highlights the green foliage
And green contrasts with red,
Blood spilled on this earth
I want to cover the whole Earth with that green ...
Let the jungle cover the concrete,
The roots pierce the silos
Let hope spread across the globe
Let the vines climb the towers,
let trunks lift up the sidewalks and asphalt
That from the dew are made streams
Let them reach the great river
And beyond to the ocean
To the coral sea
That life extends all over the globe
The overflowing life offered by the sun, the jungle, the sea ...

Nota: Bodhi Gaya es el título que le asigné a este poemario que expresa una búsqueda espiritual. Tal como su nombre, hace referencia al lugar bajo el que Sidharta Gautama "Buda" comprendió la verdad de la vida y alcanzó la iluminación.

Note: Bodhi Gaya is the title that I assigned to this book of poems that expresses a spiritual search. Just like its name, it refers to the place under which Siddhartha Gautama "Buddha" understood the truth of life and attained enlightenment. I will publish one poem per day. Please, enjoy it and let me know your impressions.
